Program 14: 1 day trekking tour to Baan Yafu

Duration 09.30 – 18.00

Price: Up to 4 people, 2,400 Baht each.  5 or more people 2,160 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price.

Highlights: Boat trip, Karen village, Elephant riding, Red Lahu village, Waterfall, Akha and Yao villages.

Depart your hotel for a long–tail boat trip along the Maekok River to Baan Ruammit Karen village, a 1 hour trip.   Walk for 2 hours to the Red Lahu village or optionally ride an Elephant (extra cost). Picnic lunch is provided. Descend by walking through the forest to the waterfall and take a short rest in the mist and nature. Continue the trip to visit the Akha village and another Lahu village, see the hill tribe’s agricultural tools and learn their story at the hill tribe’s museum and Yao village. After that, take the local taxi Song Taew back to Chiang Rai.

Program 15: 1 day trekking tour to Naan Jajaw and Huay Kaew waterfall 

Departure: 09.00

Price: Up to 4 people, 2,400 Baht each.  5 or more people 2,160 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price

Highlights: Karen Yang Khamnu village, National park, Red Lahu and Akha villages, Huay Kaew waterfall, tea plantation and hot springs.

Depart your hotel by a car for the Karen hill tribe village. Then walk around the village for 20 minutes and see their way of life. After that continue the trip into the national park and check out the hot spring by the Maekok River bank. Continue trekking to Huay Makliam national park, the Red Lahu village then take a short rest at the village. Then walk up the hill through the bamboo jungle to the Akha village.  Lunch is provided at Bamboo bar. Proceed by walking into the forest to the waterfall and take a rest in the mist and nature.  Next you will head to the Chinese tea plantation. Then take a taxi to the Pha Sert hot spa before taking the local taxi back to Chiang Rai.

Program 16: Two days and one night trekking tour 

Price: Up to 4 people, 4,200 Baht each.  5 or more people 3,600 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price

Highlights: Boat trip, Karen village, Elephant ride (optional), Red Lahu village (over night), Waterfall, Akha and Yao villages

Day 1:  Leave your hotel for  the boat pier and take the long–tail boat along the Mae Kok River to the Karen village (60 minutes) then walk around the village to see their lifestyle, and eat lunch at the local restaurant. After that we will proceed to  the Red Lahu village about a 2 hour walk or optionally you may ride on an elephant (extra cost) instead of walking.  Proceed by walking in the forest to another village where we will be staying overnight.

Day 2:  Depart Lahu village for the waterfall and take a short rest in the midst of the nature for awhile. Lunch is provided in the forest. Continue the trip on to the Akha and Yao village and take the local taxi back to Chiangrai.

Program 17: Two days, one night trekking tour (summer or winter)

Price: Up to 4 people, 4,200 Baht each.  5 or more people 3,600 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price

Highlights: Boat trip, Karen village, Elephant riding (optional), Yang Khamnu village, Red Lahu village (overnight at maetang) and hot spring

Day 1:  Leave your hotel for the boat pier and take the long–tail boat along the Mae Kok River to Karen village (60 minutes) then walk around the village to see their lifestyle and then walk to the second Karen village for lunch. For an additional cost you may ride on an elephant instead of walking.  Proceed by walking on the hill tribes’ path about 3 – 4 hours until we reach the Red Lahu village where you will be staying overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast you will proceed on foot to the next village where we will have lunch. After lunch you will continue the trip to visit the Hot Spring after which we will  take the local taxi back to Chiang Rai.

Program 18: Two days, one night trekking tour (Touch the  real nature and authentic ethnic lifestyle) 

Price: Up to 4 people, 3,840 Baht each.  5 or more people 3,360 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price

Highlights: Akha, Lahujalae villages, Huay Mae Sai waterfall, Red Lahu village (YAFU), second Lahu village, Karen village and Elephant camp

Day 1: Depart your hotel for the Akha village, where our trekking begins, by car or mini bus, passing Karen village and then we will walk around the Akha village to see their way of life.  Continue the trip walking on the hill tribe’s path (about 2:30 hours) until we reach the Lahu and Akha village.  Villagers have retained their authentic culture and lifestyle. Lunch will be provided at the local restaurant. After your great meal, continue walking to the beautiful Huay Mae Sai Waterfalls, where you can enjoy the cool breeze. Then walk up the hill to Red Lahu Yafu village, where your perfect accommodation awaits you. Most of their houses are made of bamboo, these are the original houses of Lahu style. You can experience the wonderful panoramic view of Chiang Rai city from the viewing point.

Day 2: We will say farewell to our hosts and villagers and continue our wonderful trekking tour to another Lahu village by passing through the bamboo and pine jungle (3 hours walk). Lunch is provided at the village.  Then visit the Karen Ruammit village before returning to Chiang Rai.

Program 19: Three days two nights trekking tour

 

Price: Up to 4 people, 6,000 Baht each.  5 or more people 4,200 Baht each.  Children under 10 years old pay only half price

Highlights: Boat trip, Karen village, Elephant riding (optional), second Karen village, third Karen village, Red Lahu village (over night), Chinese village, Pong Nam Ron village, waterfall, Akha village (over night), Red Lahu & Akha village, hot spa

Day 2:  We proceed on our trekking by walking through the jungle to the next Lahu village and lunch will be provided at the village or sometimes we have lunch during our trekking in the forest.  We will also visit a beautiful waterfall of Chiang Rai to relax before heading up to the next Akha village where we will be staying overnight. On the way up, you can see the terrace tea plantation.

Day 3:  We continue the trip to the Pha Sert Hot Spa where you can relax and have a hot spa before returning to Chiang Rai.
